About Us

          Hello my name is Nickole and I am the  Vice President of the Consumer Action Committee (CAC). 

                            I sit on the Contra Costa County Health Board, Contra Costa Developmental Disabilities Council, Self Determination Council, and I also in 2015 I helped pass AB662 the adult changing table bill. 

I speak on behalf of other adults with disabilities by going to hearings, rally’s, and I also speak to state and federal representatives about the needs of adults with disabilities. This includes employment, housing, transportation, and direct support professionals (DSP’s). 

My goal is to have my own advocacy group for adults with disabilities to contact me so I can advocate for them. Or work for an elected official that way they have a person with a disability who can assist them in passing legislation or understand the ADA community better.
